Guys don't dismiss this book !!!! I got it for free and am glad I did. I am a Christian, prepper, and a gun lover. My favorite writers are Rawles, Goodwin and Motes. Now that being said this is a fun book to read with a Christian overtone. Its NOT an in depth guide like Rawles but like Goodwin or Jeff Motes. I have enjoyed it as a fun book with characters that make you smile with a neat story line. Look forward to next book. Read it for a nice change of pace !Product details

A young girl is caught in a war between angels where the world has been poisoned with evil creating a zombie apocalypse that cannot be escaped. Adeline has been chosen by the fallen one because of her loss of faith and he plans to use her to his advantage. If she does not cooperate, she and her last surviving loved ones will be tortured into submission. Her only chance is to regain her faith and trust in God.
The bad I did not find the characters believable or relatable at all nor did I find the ending satisfying. Even for a YA book, I found a lot of the dialogue to be childish.
The good The book is fast paced with several twists and plenty of action. A deeper truth underlies the plot about the importance of faith.
Overall rating is 3.5 stars
I picked up this book with no real expectations. It was recommended by a friend, so I decided to give it a shot; worst case scenario I put it down, right? I didn't bother to read the genre or plot summary, I just dove in. I didn't put it down (apart from eating and sleeping really) until I was finished. The characters are real and relatable, the plot line perfectly timed. Crucial information is delivered sparingly, at just the right pace. The only disappointment was reaching the end, which left me wanting more! I will definitely be obtaining the other books by this author!
I am a Christian fiction fan, that said, I was a bit confused by this book. It grabbed me from the beginning and led me on a journey that had me questioning where the author was going. It had some salty language and some gore but the message was clear to me at the end. It is a true good vs evil tale. The ending was abrupt. I wish there had been more closure.
This is a great storyline and plot. As a book it was interesting to read. There was enough suspense to keep the reader going. As it being a Christian I like the nuggets of truth inserted in it. However I am not a fan of the zombies/gore/blood theme. Or of the sexual innuendos or tension in the book. Just my opinion.
SE. Has written a storyline about the end of the World via the rebirth of the Fallen. The outbreak of an alleged war is actually the Fallen Ones way to begin thee end of humanity as we know it. The prime topic is the lack of belief of God. This is an excellent read for the genre. However, the ending was a "To be Continued". Each novel in a series should stand on its on.....ER
Hurry up and finish the next book! First off let me state that this isn't even my typical kind of book to read.... But when it came up free I HAD to get it. I laughed and felt a bit emotional with the characters because of the depth she went to in describing everything. I felt like I could really picture it in your mind. I think that even if your not religious or a zombie person you could appreciate this book if you keep reading. She developed the characters and storyline very well. I will be reading the next book, and not because I happened to get it on a whim. Great job Samantha!
I will preface this review by saying if I had known it was a zombie book I would have told the author no, when asked to give a review. The book was free for one day so I downloaded it. I tried to read it but it just felt shallow and stark. I didn't think anything was developed in it and when I got to the part where there were zombies lumbering around with flesh and meat hanging out of their mouth I decided that I wasn't going to finish the book. I don't want to bash it, it just wasn't for me.
